Many beginner writers don’t know that in order to produce marvelous stories, most of them think it’s because a writer has had to put a lot of words on their story. To some extent, it may be true, but judging whether a story or writing is excellent only by the word count doesn’t give us any improvement to make our writing become great.

This makes beginner and professional or even the skilled one different in any aspects of their writings.

Think about how much and far beginner writers would produce and spend to attract people’s attention to read their story?

Obviously a large number of stories or articles needed to make sure that the readers are aware of their existence as a writer. They put a lot of effort into the writing process itself, while few people will eventually realize and come to see and give praise to the beginner writer’s work or craft.

You may struggle to write and you think writing with a lot of words would live up to your expectations to draw the reader’s attention, whereas it doesn’t seem like one.

I will share with you some of my insights to differentiate between a brilliant writer or not below so that you could become one of them in the future.

#1. Simplicity

I read so many articles talking about how influential writers become great just with a single book or even an article. And after I researched some more of the articles, I ended up finding one thing they have in common, that is simplicity. That’s it, no redundancy or fancy words they used to tell their story.

They share a story straight to the points and give an immersive reading experience throughout the reading process until it ends. They give something smooth yet hooking the readers to read more and get their readers feels into their world.

#2. Insights

So what made a brilliant writer become famous and known largely by the public because of their story or writing?

It’s because they know what they want to tell, inform, and entertain the people who read their masterpiece. If you know why a great novelist got acknowledged for his work, then they probably realize they must make the story as interesting as it can. They can share it with ease because they have gone through numerous practices and have gotten into deep work and research.

The same goes for other talented writers, they know how to share something knowledgeable about the things they want to share so that the readers would enjoy it and keep on reading it. That’s what makes them as famous and good as they are now.

#3. Planning, Consistency, and Practice

Great to see how good writing or story can be, but do you know what it takes to produce such quality alone?

Well, it requires a lot of struggle and effort just to generate the amount of value in their remarkable writings. They didn’t just write outstanding pieces of story or insights, they also found one tone and other voices would be suitable in their writing style. It means they plan to learn how to find one and consistently get through it with deliberate practice every single day.

Conclusion

Well, honestly, being great at something isn’t a result of one day’s attempts or experiments. Every incredible thing happens in our lives, they exist because of something, it’s there because of someone else’s hard work and high dedication. Without them, there wouldn’t be any great things as we can see today. The bestselling books you read right now result from the success.
