As we know, writing can be challenging if you are new to it, especially if you are not creating a habit of writing every day. Well, if you say that writing is difficult, you must have known that I’m coming from a country where English is a nightmare for everyone to learn and speak, even when English has widely become one of the most frequently used languages across all over the world.

Although it is hard for me to learn English to its full potential because of my unsupportive surroundings, I still manage to write a lot of articles in English and at the same time, keep on surviving to write almost every day. There are no secrets to writing excellently, yet for the most part, experienced writers seem to struggle to produce such quality writing on a daily basis.

But famous writers or authors you highly regard right now, are broadly known for the consistency to always write despite not having the will to write and producing great content.

While this confuses you, I will tell you that everyone can write easily and seamlessly to the point they don’t have to think of any words for it. You don’t have to become talented, skillful, or experienced to produce a lot of content for your next writing or articles.

These insights I got after 4 weeks of writing at medium would surely give you some valuable observations in your writing journey right now.

Look for a specific writing niche

Focusing on a single task, rather than on multiple tasks, the outcome more likely to favor when we are giving all of our attention to a single task. This also applied to writing. When you pick so many writing niches at hand, it is probably going to affect you to produce more content because it divides your mind, in such a way, that would make you not productive and end up not reaching your goals.

Never settle for an excellent quality

I know most of our end goals to become a writer are to create quality content writing. While the goal may be good to motivate you to go forward, this is the time when many beginner writers actually stop and fall down to continue in the middle of a process. I have said it if you just start your own writing project or something else, let go of the poor grammar or lack of compelling vocabulary.

You have to see that famous Youtubers you know very well, probably before being so famous, he or she was a normal person with normal life and normal daily activities to run on. To see them grow enormously because they put tons of videos on their YouTube Account regularly, literally every single day, without hesitation they would get viewers or not. In the end, their hard work paid off, and they just enjoyed the reward from staying in the process.

This works like a charm for me, because the way I see it, this would increase my confidence to retain my writing process and produce more content for my articles in the future. Write something that matters for you and your capacity would amplify as time goes by.

Don’t take too much writing advice, make your own writing systems

This is me when I start my writing journey on Medium. I read many articles about writing advice, and the results probably only affect me a little. Different writers have different styles of writing. Some of the advice is probably good to implement, but I found it hard to stay with their writing advice.

If you are a beginner, this would totally burden you if you do not do exactly what they said. For example, you want to try Stephen King’s writing process or other profound writers. I would say it is good to imitate their processes and it might work pretty well with your style, but make sure you will not stop when you do it because if it does, your effort will be meaningless.

As a beginner, just create your own writing systems that would help your writing develop exponentially. Rather than following, why don’t you create one? Maybe your styles or systems would fit perfectly for the general beginner writers out there.

Inspire them that we shouldn’t be afraid of writing that much. Writing should have been a fun thing to do and not something we should avoid.

Final Thoughts

The insights I have explained above are the things that carry out most of my writing process from the very beginning until now. It doesn’t just help me write easily day by day but also enriches me with the large vocabulary library in my head. If you recently got into the writing world, make sure you have that one thing to keep you on the road and not giving up on the process to success. Happy writing folks!
