Writers have always faced a dilemma in their writing life. On one hand, we are stressed because we need to become productive when doing the work, which is why we frequently feel frustrated and exhausted. After all, writing needs more than just typing things. It involves your brain to think critically and heavily.

And on the other side, we writers need to enjoy our life to the fullest. As if we should have found balance within work and life, but sadly, most of us never discover it.

Every time we write, it needs a lot of preparation to make it done.

We should think about what content we want to deliver, what knowledge or lesson the audience wants from the content, why this content is the right content to educate them, how we should deliver the stories to attract the readers and the list goes on and on.

Most of our time is devoted only to writing, where in reality, just like other people too, we also want to take joy in life.

Rest assured that you could still work on your writing and enjoy the process to perfectly balance things between your life and work area.

Here are two takeaways from me you should take into consideration.

# 1. Realizing that you must be enjoying what you do

Rejoice at what you do, that is writing. What I mean by rejoicing is to love doing the things you always do.

See writing as an excitement where you take pleasure from it. Without this, you can never enjoy the process and finish what you have started.

Trick your mind to make you write fun and entertaining concepts. By taking this course, you can genuinely accomplish your writing.

# 2. Find your purpose and make it meaningful

People always lack purpose when they start something. They will think that, eventually, when I am just doing it, all will be fine in the end.

To find a purpose means you have a dream and a goal to reach. Seek your way when you write something.

When you already know your writing purpose, make it meaningful. Meaningful means what you convey in your writing, as much as you can contribute to help other people’s lives.

It isn’t always about helping other people. If you find it meaningful to write will change your life and mindset, that is enough to do.

You must find your purpose and make it meaningful to you.

# Final Thoughts

While it may look easy to say rather than apply it, I consistently establish and cultivate these two takeaways. I see it helpful to get the writing done and still be able to enjoy the process and my life simultaneously. Take your time to apply these two takeaways and see the gradual improvement on your writing journey.
