4 Writing Helpful Resources For Beginner Writers
Ease your day-to-day writing works
So you are a new or beginner writer who tries to make your writing work easier?
This article surely will answer your complaint and solve your everyday writing problems.
Many of you think it’s impossible to write something as good as other writers you saw online. Don’t be afraid, my friend, because every excellent writer with splendid work out there also comes with helpful resources to support them in the process.
Here are the 4 helpful resources you can use as a beginner writer to assist you in your writing processes.
Grammarly
Who doesn’t know Grammarly?
Almost every writer knows and uses this app to aid them in the writing process. Grammarly fixes errors or mistakes in your writing, such as grammar, spelling, and punctuation. It comes with free and paid versions. The paid version gives extra add-on features for more complex writing necessities such as plagiarism detections, word choices, and tone adjustments.
If you don’t have that much money to spend on the paid version, you can still use the free version to get the writing done. It still gives enough features to make your writing better than before. But if you are willing to put extra money, then the paid version is the choice.
Google Docs
Google Docs is a word processor made by Google. It has identical features as Microsoft Word which was created by Microsoft, a rival in the technology and internet industries.
Although Google Docs isn’t as famous as Microsoft Word, the usage and compatibility of the features have been more useful and significant in my writing processes than when I was using Word. You can open Google Docs for free and practically anywhere as long as you have an internet connection and google account.
Google Docs saves your work automatically without having to save it manually as Microsoft Word did. Besides that, what makes Google Docs genuinely better than Word is its “voice typing” feature which will allow you to write without having to type it from the keyboard.
Thesaurus.com
Thesaurus makes my boring writing more compelling because of the word choices of the same word they provide. The website presents us with synonyms and antonyms of every word. If you happen to find yourself stuck with vocabulary or word selection, this is the place to go for your next writing project.
Pictures With Free Copyrights
The first thing your reader attracts to your writing besides your headline is your picture. It comes as the first impression when people want to read your articles for example. If you don’t try to put pictures and just give plain straight words, it will make your work dull. Make the readers engaged to see your writings or blogs.
There are plenty of websites that provide us with free stock photos to appeal to our online readers, like Pixabay.com, Unsplash.com, and Pexels.com. You can also get the paid stock photos if you are willing to put extra money on them.
I personally still use the free stock photos because my writings aren’t backing up my financial condition. However, if your writings already give you an income and you are financially stable then you should go for it.
Conclusion
Those are my 4 top lists of helpful resources that significantly affect my writings, blogs, and articles online. The resources are just a bridge to a better writing outcome. Eventually, great writings come from the person who writes themselves, not the tools or resources to help to write. It comes from everyday practice and hard rock-steel determination to give the best. Make sure you put the use of the resources given with careful application.
