3 Biggest Problems Beginner Writers Must Overcome
The main reasons for your uncertainty
If you are reading this, it means you are a newcomer or beginner writer who struggles to keep up with the competition, or perhaps your articles and content didn’t quite show up to be as great as you think they would.
I get it and that’s okay if you were in that trouble before and now.
We are living with the process all the time. And with the process comes the problems and obstacles which are going to hold us up from achieving our goals.
Still, you are under obligation for every outcome you will make in the future, be it a success or failure, it is your choice.
Producing winning-quality writing or content is not something you can achieve in just one night. There is no such thing as overnight success. Days, weeks, months, and even years are required to achieve a certain level of success. It explains why so many people are successful at different ages.
As a beginner or newcomer writer, you need to be patient. Problems always happen when you try to battle the enemy within you. These are the major causes why you never start to write or perhaps publish your first article. What you must do is to survive all of the difficulties along with the process. Until the goals are reached, you are fully responsible for your own decision.
Now here are the 3 biggest problems beginner writers must overcome in order to keep up with the flow.
#1. Bad Habits Always Slide-In Yourself
If you want to be a better writer and get good at writing, you need to create a habit of writing and learning every single day. However, building those good habits isn’t as easy as it sounds. It may sound easy, but the practice of implementing good habits is much more complicated and distressing.
You know that people always do something because they want to get a reward, right? Like purpose or some sort of goal.
For instance, you want to write because you want to get money and huge numbers of followers and viewers, yet your writings and articles never get any of it, which ultimately will irritate you and you decided to quit.
Make a habit of writing as you are a true writer. Imagine and see yourself in a position where you are now a writer who got a job to work on a piece of novel or fiction book. Who would have thought that your writing would make it into one of the best-selling books someday? Keep writing and don’t let bad habits take over your writing.
#2. No Writing Systems
After reading James Clear’s book called “Atomic Habits”, my view changed and was very clear about successful matters. Successor goal is not about the purpose, but it is the systems that we must fix before we actually reach our success. If we have the right systems running to achieve success, then success will come for itself.
Too often, many people underestimate their need to fix the systems, because the goals are much more important than anything to achieve the results.
Set and fix your systems. Search and analyze what your system lacks. If you already found it, apply the new prototype and try it to know the results. If it fails, try to apply the new model of the prototype until it succeeds.
#3. Lack Of Confident
Writing is a job that requires you to be fully confident about your capabilities. If you don’t believe in your actual power and knowledge to do the work, then who else would?
You must believe, as you write something, that you are worthy and really have that power and knowledge in it. You held to account for the message, content, inspiration, and any otherwise calling you’ve made in your writing.
People read our content because they know we have that knowledge that needs to be told.
Be brave and bold with whatever content or writing you come up with. Never doubt any single writing you have devoted to helping someone who probably needs it out there. You are best because you want to help, not because you want to look best among others.
Final Conclusion
Writing could be very intimidating to do, especially for beginner writers. As all things have problems, then all things also have a solution to them. Be aware of the bad habits that would cause far more problems when you write. Don’t forget to add up the lack of systems to run your writing process and the necessity of confidence so you could write something you want to tell more freely and honestly. Be the best version of what you do, because the only one who knows you are worth it is yourself.
